Strategic objectives and educational support

I. Strategic objectives for the 2025 fiscal year
General objective:
To provide a comprehensive care model covering physical and biological, psychological, educational, social and spiritual development, ensuring the full restoration of the rights of the children and adolescents in our care.
Specific objectives:
1. Address educational gaps and promote competitive extracurricular skills.
2. Heal trauma through specialized psychotherapeutic interventions.
3. Ensure optimal physical development through health care, nutrition and sports.
4. Strengthen identity and a sense of transcendence through spiritual formation.
II. DETAILED COMPREHENSIVE CARE MATRIX
(2025 FISCAL YEAR)
During the 2025 fiscal year, Santuario Hogar Guadalupano focused its efforts not only on providing assistance, but also on the comprehensive restoration of the rights of our children and adolescents. Below, we present the objectives achieved in each of our care areas:
Educational support (the right to education)
Enrollment, daily attendance and continued schooling were ensured for all our residents at their respective academic levels. This objective was fulfilled in strict accordance with the General Law on the Rights of Children and Adolescents, which requires that every child have the right to a quality education that contributes to knowledge of their own rights and the harmonious development of their potential.
We succeeded in making school a place of normalcy, integration and personal achievement for each of them.

Mental, emotional and specialist health care

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH (PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE)
Continuous, individualized psychological support was provided to our residents. We succeeded in establishing a safe therapeutic space where children could process their life stories, work on healing trauma, strengthen their self-esteem and develop resilience skills essential to their emotional well-being.
PHYSICAL AND SPECIALIST HEALTH CARE (MEDICAL, PSYCHIATRIC AND PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGICAL CARE)
The right to health protection was ensured through regular medical checkups, vaccination schedules and timely treatment of illness. In addition, a particularly important achievement was the referral and close follow-up of children who required specialist medical care from pediatric neurologists and psychiatrists, ensuring accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment for their optimal neurological and cognitive development.

Physical development and healthy recreation

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTHY RECREATION (RECREATION AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES)
In fulfillment of their right to rest, play and recreational activities, an active physical development program was promoted. The soccer team and training sessions were strengthened, encouraging teamwork, discipline and the ability to manage frustration. Extracurricular classes were also provided, enabling children to discover new skills and talents beyond the strictly academic setting.

Nutrition and personal and spiritual development

NUTRITIONAL CARE
Balanced meal plans were designed and implemented under specialist supervision, ensuring that every child received the nutrients needed to reverse malnutrition, support healthy physical growth and optimize school and sports performance.
PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION
(CATHOLIC CONTEXT)
Faithful to our identity and institutional values, we supported our children in their spiritual growth. They received Catholic formation through regular catechism classes, enabling them to prepare for and receive their initial sacraments with joy and faith, giving them a solid moral foundation based on love, forgiveness and hope.

Residential care and legal status

COMPREHENSIVE CARE PROVIDED IN THE
2025 FISCAL YEAR
Behind every figure presented below is a face, a life story and a heart that has begun to heal.
During the 2025 fiscal year, our Comprehensive Care Model focused on restoring the fundamental rights of the children and adolescents in our care, providing an environment of protection, health and love. Below, we break down the results of our institutional operations:
I. RESIDENTIAL CARE AND LEGAL STATUS
The primary objective of Casa Hogar Mexiquito is to be a safe, temporary refuge, always working in coordination with the authorities to determine the best life plan for every child.
Population served: During the 2025 fiscal year, we provided residential care to a total of 11 children and adolescents, ensuring their protection, shelter, food and daily care at all times.
Family reunification: We are deeply delighted to report that 4 children left our care to reunite with their families of origin. This is the greatest success for our institution and for the protection system: enabling a child to return to a safe, structured and loving home once the circumstances that led to their admission have been resolved.
Institutional referrals: With a firm commitment to ensuring the best interests of children, 5 children were referred to other social assistance institutions. This measure is taken strategically and legally to ensure that children receive care at specialized centers that more precisely meet their profiles, ages or particular needs.
II. COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
A child who feels physically unwell or carries deep emotional pain cannot develop fully. We therefore invest significant resources and effort in guaranteeing their right to health in all its dimensions:

Comprehensive health care and developmental experiences

143 Psychological Care Appointments
67 General Medical Appointments
22 Dental Appointments
22 Deworming Treatments
19 Eye Care Appointments
16 Nutritional Care Appointments
These numbers reflect the tireless work of our team and the generosity of every donor and volunteer. At Casa Hogar Mexiquito, we will continue working every day so that next year's statistics keep telling stories of success, hope and restored rights. Thank you for making this possible!
RECREATIONAL, DEVELOPMENTAL AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
THE RIGHT TO A HAPPY CHILDHOOD
For a heart to heal fully, a child needs to play, laugh, discover their talents and marvel at the world around them. The right to healthy recreation, rest and participation in cultural and sporting life is an essential pillar in restoring their joy in living.
During the 2025 fiscal year, we designed and promoted a rich program of recreational, developmental and extracurricular activities for all our residents. Our main objective was to provide meaningful experiences that took them beyond their routines, broadened their horizons and allowed them to engage in ordinary everyday settings, just as any child or adolescent would within a family.
Below, we present an account of the main extracurricular and developmental experiences that filled our children's year with light and learning:

Activities and staff professional development

132 Remedial Classes and Homework Support Sessions
80 Development Workshop Sessions
20 Soccer Classes
20 Physical and Recreational Activity Classes
15 Painting Classes
10 Pickleball Classes
60 Music Classes
STAFF TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, during the 2025 fiscal year our team participated in and successfully completed the following continuing education and training programs:
1. Institutional strengthening strategies for directors of Social Assistance Centers in the State of Guanajuato from a trauma-informed perspective.
2. Functions of the psychology discipline and information in the case files of children and adolescents in residential care.
3. Four Pillars of Social Assistance Center Regulation.
4. Prevention of and response to child sexual violence.
5. Case file compilation and the roles of social workers in Social Assistance Centers.
6. Understanding and applying the protocol for responding to cases of violence against children and adolescents within public and private Social Assistance Centers in the State of Guanajuato.
Thanks to this training, Casa Hogar Mexiquito now has a stronger, more sensitive and technically prepared team to defend and transform the lives of our children.
CIVIL PROTECTION AND INSTITUTIONAL SAFETY TRAINING

Safety, follow-up and social impact

Prevention and safety are our highest priority. We understand that it is a vital duty to safeguard the integrity, lives and peace of mind of our children, adolescents and all the staff who sustain this work.
During the 2025 fiscal year, our leadership, administrative and operational staff were trained and evaluated under Civil Protection guidelines to act effectively, in an orderly manner and quickly in any emergency.
Our institution's staff successfully completed the following theoretical and practical training courses:
1. Search and rescue.
2. Building evacuation.
3. Basic first aid.
4. Fire prevention and firefighting.
5. Earthquake response protocols.
6. Bomb threat response protocols.
Thanks to this technical preparation, Santuario Hogar Guadalupano is now not only a home filled with love, but also a stronghold prepared to protect its residents in any eventuality.
FOLLOW-UP RESULTS
Thanks to this methodological rigor, the population in our care has shown substantial improvement in comprehensive development indicators, achieving a positive transition from initial vulnerability to a stage of stability and harmonious growth.
SOCIAL IMPACT AND REACH
This report is institutional in scope. By fulfilling these areas, Casa Hogar Mexiquito achieved:
1. Mental health impact: Children and adolescents who are becoming more resilient every day.
2. Impact on the social fabric: By helping a child who has experienced violence recover, we interrupt a generational cycle of abuse and contribute citizens with values and ethics to society.
3. Legal compliance: Unrestricted compliance with the General Law on the Rights of Children and Adolescents (LGDNNA) and Mexican Official Standard NOM-032 SSA3 2010, giving child protection authorities legal certainty to continue entrusting children to our care.

Financial transparency and accountability

“Every time a child at Casa Hogar Mexiquito learns a guitar chord, scores a goal or heals a wound of the soul, the world becomes a fairer place. Your donation and our work are more than assistance; they are the building of a new destiny.”
The 2025 fiscal year was a period of institutional consolidation. Santuario Hogar Guadalupano has provided more than shelter: it has been a platform for transformation where the scientific expertise of the multidisciplinary team and the commitment of Executive Leadership and caregivers have restored children's hope for a dignified future.
FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY.
ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE 2025 FISCAL YEAR
At Santuario Hogar Guadalupano, we firmly believe that transparency is the fundamental pillar sustaining the trust of those who believe in our mission. Every financial or in-kind resource received by our institution is more than a number in the accounts; it represents an expression of love, a vote of confidence and a sacred commitment to the lives and futures of our children and adolescents.
Sustaining the daily operations of Casa Hogar Mexiquito, meeting our residents' comprehensive needs and maintaining dignified, safe infrastructure is a monumental challenge we could not overcome alone. We therefore extend our deepest gratitude to our support network: every benefactor, donor, volunteer and friend whose unconditional generosity remains the heartbeat keeping this home alive.
In strict accordance with our institutional ethics, our values of honesty and the current regulations applicable to us as an organization authorized to receive tax-deductible donations, we present below the Income Statement detailing the income received and expenditures incurred during the 2025 fiscal year.
